    Really good, homey food. The pasta salad your sandwich comes with is delish! Fries were fresh and the poor boy was sooo good. Oh, and you get soup with your meal too, all that for $8.95. The waitresses were super nice.  My only regret is not coming here sooner!

    First time here finally got here found out about it from Steve Dahl's podcast having Tom Thayer on. Met Toms mom, she walks around asking how your food is. This is the kind of restaurant I want in your town, the old school casual restaurant with so many good things to choose from & everything comes with soup. OMG the chicken noodle soup was to die for as was the poor boy steak sandwich. We will be regulars here!

    Small family owned restaurant with attached neighborhood bar for drinks with your meal.  The soups are delicious.  Nice daily specials and very good Rueben.  Friendly service.  Mrs. Thayer is a charming host.  A favorite spot.

    Great home made food.
    I had the beef stew and the wife had pork chops. Both of us were completely satisfied!!!!
    Owners and staff are friendly as can be.

    I've live probably 20 min from this place and probably passed by 1 million times, and never noticed it. That's how small a hole-in-the-wall it is.

    Food was Ridiculously Great. Ordered the muffuletta. I was expecting more of a cold sub, but it came as a hot sandwich. It was totally awesome.

    Came with fries and pasta salad. Salad was homemade, and both were so good.

    Lastly, I had to get the chocolate cream pie. All their desserts are homemade. It was Fantastic. I'm so glad I ordered it.

    I think literally every single thing on the menu is homemade. I had such a great meal. You should definitely try this place!!
